Update: 06/03/26:
Thank you for your continuing support and enthusiasm for our strawberries!  We are proud to offer you 8 varieties of strawberries this year! In comparison to last year, we had 5 varieties that we cultivated.  Our first harvest will begin likely the beginning of May, depending on weather.  Stay tuned for more information. We grow only organic plants and always with 0% pesticides.

What varieties will you be growing this year?

Strawberries in reality come in all sorts of varieties and tastes just as you see with apples. What you see in the supermarkets are often a couple common varieties that don’t taste very different from each other. They each have their own unique flavour profile definitely worth trying. Below is a graphic of the varieties we cultivated last year. Stay tuned for more info on this year’s varieties.

Did You Know?

Sadly, strawberries are the fruit where the most pesticide residues are found. Our strawberries are grown from organic plants with absolutely no pesticides used throughout any stage of their
growth. Instead we use natural solutions to remedy any problems. Last year had a problem with aphids but used natural predator insects which took care of the problem for us and protected our plants.

So yes, it is possible to enjoy this delicious fruit without worrying if you’re ingesting anything other than a healthy fruit. It does take us more time and energy but the rewards outweigh the costs.

Taking Your Strawberries Home

As tasty as they are, strawberries are also a fragile fruit. It’s best to eat them close to when they’ve been picked, and also best to wash them right before eating or cooking with them. Excess moisture can make strawberries spoil more quickly.
