Classic Strawberry Smoothie

A smoothie is a great way to start your day or any part of your day. It’s nutritious and quick to prepare. It’s also a healthy alternative for kids who might not like eating fruits on their own. Yogurt can be added for extra protein and smoothness but is optional.

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 strawberries, hulled  (approximately 180g)
  • 1 banana
  • 2 oranges (for approximately 100ml of orange juice)
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt, if using

INSTRUCTIONS

Place strawberries, banana, orange juice, and yogurt (if using) in a blender until smooth.  Reserve a strawberry for garnishing. 

Serve in a tall glass and garnish with strawberries and other toppings of choice, such as chia seeds or shaved coconut.
